nowhere
Branding for warehouse events space
Identity, Art Direction, Motion, Website, Spacial

I led the creation of the full identity for nowhere, a Manchester-based events space. The concept explored the idea of nowhere as a digital glitch or blip in time, something surreal appearing onto the scene.

The visual system originated  from distortions found in Google Maps, including rendering errors, blurs, and abstracted landscapes. These elements informed the motion language, typography, and overall tone of the brand. The identity spans motion, social, venue visuals, and a responsive website, creating a cohesive but unstable-feeling brand world.

A deliberately simple, softly blurred logo anchors the system, supported by a restrained black, white, and grey palette with a vivid digital blue drawn from interface elements. This has been an ongoing project now into its second season.
